What operating system? What program? How much memory?

Perhaps try reinstalling the program?
If you are operating next to a modem or wireless device, unplug the power to the modem etc for around a minute and re-connect. It works for me!
Hello in attendance,

This is usually cause by a program caught surrounded by a loop or something cause a program to overload itself.

I would suspect any a virus, trojan or a malformed install of something.

Check what you have lately installed and try to uninstall it, or dance through adjectives your programs and see which one might be the inflict.

Also, you might want to do a virus scan, anti spyware scan as powerfully, as some of these do mete out this as very well.
Let me know, hope this help.
Good Luck!
sometimes inaccurate memory produces this as program loads and suddenly in that no memory to hold the info in so it stops the program in it's tracks and cannot run.
(like if your sports car runs out of petrol and you don't put any more surrounded by the reservoir it will not start...)
sounds close to you are running out of mem/ or cpu usage, (to oodles programmes running at once) try closing down other programmes or attain your self extra mem, in recent times to check, look at favour inspector when it freezes, it will put in the picture you what is running in the backgrond as in good health as what you enjoy running yourself, you can close programmes from here fairly than reboot your comp, hope this help you out a bit.
