McAfee Security Center isn't a deposit application, so you can't compare it next to Norton (Symantec) anti-virus. McAfee and Norton anti-viruses are nearly equally accurate, but near are much better option. Both are huge system hogs (Norton beat McAfee within this respect), Norton updates weekly, and both own terribly honest (not excellent) detection rates. If you want to purchase one anti-virus, travel for Kaspersky or Avast! Professional, both are excellent.

it's crucial have one of them. they both working resourcefully. if you hold virtuous system(powerfull) i recommand Northon. otherwise try NOD or AVG.
Symantec antivirus
I used to pay packet for anti virus . I have Kaspersky for a long time after I have McAfee. IMO mcafee and Kaspersky are channel over rate and are a huge resource hog. I own used any avg or Avast(currently used) and I am beyond impressed. It is table lamp on resources and does an excellent opening.
