This is a follow on from the query a short time ago posted by MISSXX. Norton have picked up the Dialer Generic virus on my computer. It say it can't remove it from an "unsupported" wallet. I would approaching to know what is an "unsupported" directory and why can't Norton remove it. IE can't find the report despite two full search so I can't remove it manually.Norton give two option, any "exclude" or "review" the "review prospect one recommended, but what does "review" be determined? What does it do? Any lend a hand would be appreciated by me and I am sure by MISSXX. Thank you.

Dialer generic is a trojan, not a genuine virus, but spyware. that's why Norton can see it but not remove it. Get SpyBot Search & Destroy to undamagingly remove spyware. Best of adjectives, it’s free. After installing it, give a vaccination to the computer against over 33,000 specified pieces of spyware. Then run a full bot check and remove everything it finds using the Fix Selected Problems tab. Keep it updated and run it weekly to save your computer free of this stuff. Then take Ad-Aware also from download.com and run it the first time doing a Full System Scan. Thereafter, run a Smart Scan day after day.
