How can I prevent attacks from cyberspace? e.g. virus, worms, etc. Please back me by answering this put somebody through the mill ASAP, I have need of this for my IT assignment..
Answers:
To *prevent* attacks, you have need of perfect full-time protection within the form of a firewall, a full-time antivirus, and a full-time antispyware application.
You can prevent attacks by not inviting them; i.e. don't progress to questionable sites. A polite tool for this is McAfee's Site Advisor, which installs on your toolbar and warn you of potentially desperate sites.
You can also prevent attacks by doing your surfing from inside a "sandbox", which in effect cocoons your session and doesn't agree to anything install lastingly. When you're done next to the session, you exit and void the sandbox and it's similar to it never happen.
If you be contained by stipulation of lend a hand I would enjoy supplied links, but since you're a short time ago researching this for an assignment, you can find your own reviews and links ;-)
BTW...on-demand scanners approaching Superantispyware, Ad-Aware, Spybot Search and Destroy, and A-Squared Free, etc. will scan and verbs your system, but do nil to *prevent* attacks. That's why I didn't mention any of them contained by the above.
Honestly, the best channel is to not use the internet.

This is how I prevent it...
I own :
2 Anti-Virus Program
2 Anti-Spyware
1 Trojan Remover
1 Firewall
The most essential road to prevent it is to take heed where on earth your going in the lattice!
