I a short time ago lately downloaded McAfee AOL financial guarantee suite and I'm scan for virus right very soon.it's be close to 35 minutes and adjectives its detected is one virus.
See, i checked for virus on Yahoo anti-spy and it detected resembling 6 virus, but i could'nt delete them end in its impossible!
Why is it taking this long? How long does it usually give somebody a lift?

Virus scan are usually slow.
I would recommend getting Kaspersky to destroy any virus, malware, adware etc.
Those freebies sometimes do not do the post correctly.

i have nil but problems beside McAfee i then
changed to avast it's great no more problems
Well almost adjectives antivirus programs are slow. The best antivirus out in that is Grisoft AVG. Trust me. This too is slow, but better surrounded by detecting virus than McAfee.
Use SpyBot-Search & Destroy for removing spywares.
One finishing word: NORTON reaaalllyyy suckss.
Depends on:
A: How big is your complicated drive.
B: How much background does it hold to scan
C: How apposite the spec of you PC is
D: How oodles other programs are running at that time.
