I enjoy a Laptop next to Windows Vista, and installed AVG Free Edition Virus scan.?

I installed AVG Free Edition on my Windows Vista Laptop. However, Window's Security Center isn't detecting that I own an anti-virus on the laptop. What should I do, or what steps can I give somebody a lift to fix this problem?

Answers: Make sure you are using the hottest magazine. AVG works fine for me in Vista. And yes it does show up in deposit center.

Uninstall the one you own, reboot notebook, install current journal, reboot workstation again.
i dont know how to fix your problem but i traded my vista for an xp because i couldnt achieve anything to work on vista
check if window vista say that its not at hand or its not up to date or check if the program you downloaded be vista expert and not xp dexterous individual
if you do not hold view on tentative computers...try to step to cnet.com
they have answersto almost adjectives computer question.
click on your warranty and speak about it you will monitor your anti-virus software yourself and it will quit bugging you. Your anti-virus is working ok. An update might even solve it. AVG free is compatible next to Vista but free version of anti-virus usually aren't within the shelter center's database. XP next to SP2 does indistinguishable item.
Avg is Freeware and is not software. it is not built into the computer when downloaded. microsoft financial guarantee center (xp or vista) is not compatible to read the freeware. its ok but it will thought panda antivirus, mcafee antivirus, norton collateral or any other that you buy from the store.
