No, it is superfluous to turn of your window firewall. I too am running another firewall from another program and not here my window firewall on. Should pose no problems. Infact I suggest ypu keep hold of your window firewall on as this is a free trial magazine and might not be highly complete. It might not contain adjectives its features and once the trial time is over you may forget to turn on your window firewall again.
i use window firewall and avg as okay together. neither conflict beside respectively other.
