Nod32 don't affect your computer performances, and works thoroughly right, but for maximum indemnity I recommand Norton Anti-virus from Symantec.
norton anti-virus is pretty correct
These are the most popular free antivirus programs

If you're after a free one next Avast or AVG are pretty apposite. I've never have any problems next to Avast.
i find avg pretty honourable and its free.
try using Norton Anti-virus ( recommended) and also you stipulation a firewall to stop any hackers.
as far as i know norton is the best on the souk. this is because it's rather confident to use and it really does bring out those anoying trojans unlike lots other antivirus. if you do online shopping i will also recomend a firewall, zone alarm is the best when it comes to firewalls.
Kaspersky or Symmantec both are in the top tier and both are relatively inexpensive.
if you are looking at 'free' option avg antivirus from grisoft
the Kaspersky suite is nice and inexpensive for an entire suite of protection applications - but i do enjoy an issue next to copy 6 which is what I am running - it didnt "learn" remarkably economically contained by vocabulary of the firewall and related web-security. also within be times i'd click 'yes' and expect it to not ask me a few dozen more times give or take a few equal application *sigh*
the most up-to-date interpretation is 7 and i'm sure they own remedied some of the minor shortcomings.
1) categorically do NOT run 2 software firewalls on equal computer at alike time!!
2) solely own 1 stirring anti-virus system running at a time - you can own another one (or read aloud the free grisoft) if you want to do a weekly scan and are paranoid something may enjoy corrupted your primary alive one
3) as to anti-spyware i in actual fact turn kaspersky bad and use window champion within conjunction next to a once a month scan using the free 'spybot' app
[i may switch to using kasperky's anti-spyware if i close to what i see when i switch to text 7]

kaspersky, mcafee, or norton will be a biddable choice
I use:-
Eset NOD32 - best in that is IMHO
RegCure
Xoftspy
Ad-Aware SE
Hi-Jack This
Call me ultra sheltered.
With Norton and McAfee you conclude up next to loads of stuff not here on your notebook after you own finished next to it, and they both run loads of processess.
AVG free is OK, but incredibly deep.
Don't know around Avast as I hold never used it.
Always run spyware programs seperately as most Anti Virus software doesn't cath everything.
kaspersky or nod 32, norton is biddable too but it's slow
If you want a free anti-virus AVG. Willing to settle up ZoneAlarm. Norton used to be the best. It most sure isn't immediately. I use F-Secure on two of my computers and I can't conjure why you want to transmute.
Avast is the best at the moment. Norton and McAfee agonizingly slow your system down, plus Avast have the top detection rate at the moment and is updated as much as 2 or 3 times a time on some occasion. AVG etc are also appropriate, but are at the back surrounded by updating to detect the most recent virus.
Avast is also terrifically lightweight on your computer and also have an expertise to scan for virus since Windows even starts. This give the good thing of it anyone competent to detect virus that stealth themselves as they nouns beside Windows.
It is also free for home use www.avast.com
ACOORDING TO ME BEST ONE ANTI VIRUS IS ONE AND ONLY KASPERSKY,IT'S LATEST VERSION 7 IS ULTMATE.
I M USING THIS FROM LAST 3 YEARS, BUT I HAV'NT FACED ANY PROBLEM REGARING VIRUS ETC.
I HAVE ALSO USED TREND MICRO.MCAFEE,NORTON.
BUT THIS IS THE BEST
avast,avg,etc etc
Try AVG publication 7.5 Free at www.grisoft.com
Norton ant-virus but not AVG
Kaspersky, Norton, AVG

It can be trusted and you can download one.
I hold 4 PC and hold tried most of the free anti virus, what I enjoy found out is that the free ones are newly as well brought-up as the ones you hold to discharge for.
at the moment i am using zone alarm, avg and avest. and i can not reproach them,
i own tried Norton, and what i found next to it i.e. take so much resources that it slowed my PC down, it be similar to installing a virus,
MC, duty could not sort that one out.
so what my personal recommendation are zone alarm, avg and avast, others may disagree beside me, but i am protecting my PC and it is my choice what I use

Norton is a apt antivirus program however it is a drain on perspective resources which is fine if you enjoy a speedily system. A problem near Norton I found is that some virus own to be removed contained by risk-free mode as opposing in that and later.
AVG Free edition (download from Grisoft or download.com) is pretty cool when it comes to System resources drain. It used drastically little memory and is really forceful at removing virus first time. The with the sole purpose annoying entry is that it seem to update day after day next to definition everytime you login to window. This can be turned sour and you a short time ago own to remember to manually update.
Lots out in attendance but AVG is the best free edition. Comes contained by impressively close to those you hold to income for. Don't acquire anxious by adjectives those guarantee off-putting messages you see out near. It's almost as impossible as Bush trying to put the horror of terrorists surrounded by everyone. All you have need of is a polite antivirus and rough and ready firewall. If anyone is determined satisfactory to hack your system they will find away around anything. (recommend zonealarm as a firewall. Again this is free). Hope this help.
