Are Microsoft Anti-viruses and Anti-spyware safe - EXPLAIN?

I just this minute have virus and trojans on my computer. These Microsoft pop-ups kept flashing up on my computer. Once I get rid of them pop ups eg 'Contravirus' the PC speeded up and I downloaded 'Windows Live One Care' and 'Spybot' as recommended by someone on Yahoo and problem solved.

But programs approaching Contravirus and Windows Defender slow make the problem worse, why would Microsoft back up problems similar to this??

I other dispense a best answer...

Answers: Hello,

(ANS) As a exceedingly long standing veteran of Microsoft products and see the style Microsoft behave as a company. Microsoft are a moment ago approaching "the Borg" surrounded by Star Trek, Microsoft embrace, buy out and involve any other company that seem to pose any potential rivalry to them within the open market place.

Microsoft enjoy other bought other companies & products and consequently included them into here own products i.e. for example within the rash days MS DOS suddenly come beside a free anti virus program.

In my evaluation, masses of these affix on's to Windows are to some extent poor and of late receive existence far more complex, its other an attempt by Microsoft to lock the users into using but more Microsoft products (even if you don't want them or never asked for them within the firsts place).

MS Windows Vista is a classic example of this Microsoft mindset as it comes near "Bit Defender" and a built within Firewall and much much more. Vista have become the most over stuffed most massive newspaper of window ever, its abit approaching steering the QE2.

**The best ever give on phase surrounded by window have be the backup tools surrounded by XP and these be NOT written or created by Microsoft themselves but are a cut down newspaper of Seagate's Backup exe tool.

Conclusion,
I on the odd occasion if ever use Microsoft incorporate on or third delegation tools, why? because within my experience near are other better programs & tools from non Microsoft sources, or from free-ware if you are prepared to look for them. This channel the user isn't locked surrounded by again to another MS product.

**Windows champion hasn't have a fitting press.
**SpyBot Search & Destroy is an excellent & widely respected program.

The certainty that Windows OneCare is not free and built into every window computer continues to blow my mind. OneCare have one of the worst ratings for catching financial guarantee risks out nearby. 89/100% while adjectives others score above 95. In the 2.0 variation, which I am BETA trialling, they are getting much better. Microsoft does what it does to net the most money sour of a user and hang on to cost low.
ContraVirus, also particular as ExpertAntivirus is a copy Spyware, Trojan removal application agreed to grant exaggerated reports of potential risks on a computer. It is downloaded minus the users culture, if they click the pop-ups, beside warning to alarm users near the purpose of tricking them into buying it and redirect to the ContraVirus website. First agreed release be May 1, 2007. I doubt if Microsoft back up it.
Is anything risk-free contained by this world? Answer no. Whatever any company Say's but nought is nontoxic because within will be someone better who will hack it. With computer working similar to nought, one nearby is other instrument to find an loop hole some where on earth my friend so filch it next to pinch of saline. When anyone Say's UN-breakable or terribly undamaging.

Nothing is safe

Contravirus and Windows Defender slow make the problem worse, why would Microsoft back up problems resembling this answer is simple to net Bill Gate more richer after he is. Make money, money, and more money that's why
Your computer is infected next to rogue antispyware call contravirus. Download the Xoftspyse from http://www.geeksjunction.com to remove the contravirus.
No. It is lately 'Contra Virus' that is to say your problem. It is a prominent rogue AV app. Remove it. Your system is compromised while to be precise installed on your contraption.
Contravirus is not a Windows product nor do they prop up it. The pop-ups that you get be most probably not from Microsoft, but from the trojan that later downloaded more second-hand goods, Contravirus, when you clicked the pop-up. Here's how to remove it: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t...

Windows Defender is a Microsoft product. I've used it for years, it have never slowed down my computer. It's not a virus/spyware removal tool, it allows you to proscribe change to your system that COULD be adverse. It is nontoxic, altho it's not remarkably practical.

I'm not habituated near Live One Care except mostly, because I don't obligation it. I own one antivirus, one firewall, and several antispyware programs, all free.
