Check and see if your ISP give away Norton or McAfee or some other anti-virus program. Comcast give away McAfee.
AVG because Norton anti virus runs out and afterwards a topical virus appears again over and over and AVG is path better than Norton Antivirus

Using avast here on three machines.
You might want to look into an imaging solution for backup - Acronis True Image is the preferred imaging software.
Replacing a drive image(~20 minutes here) vs a format and reinstall(all daylight?) - have a sneaking suspicion that roughly it!
Reimaged drive is of late as it be when you made the sign, installed software included!
i stir beside AVG too, i disabled the free virus programs provided near my Internet service only to use it.
AVG is updated on a daily basis and other the most thorough program I hold ever used.

Yes AVG Free Has The Same Virus Detection rate As The Paid publication. Both 82.82% But The compensated Version offer more protection, such as anti-spyware, anti-spam, firewall. Etc.

Spend nearly $60 to $70 bucks and obtain Norton 360 or something else in that category.
Have other used free AVG but lately it could not remove a
Trojan so changed to Avira AntiVir.
Since after no more problems.
avg slows down the computer too much
i changed to avira next to the red umbrella works a treat, dont even know it is within and it is free!
