I in recent times installed Verizon DSL internet. It is working OK, but it seem to be blocking persuaded sites, most of which are out of harm`s way sites, similar to ebay, myspace, Capitalone's credit card site, my webmail from Penn State etc. My antiquated internet is still helpful, so I hooked that rear legs up, and tried these sites, and they adjectives work fine, so it have to be something next to the Verizon service. I call their tech support, and we go tried a bunch of things, next to no luck. They're wise saying it's something wrong next to my computer! I doubt that since the sites work near my frail service on this same computer! I've see some other folks on google have similar problems, but no solutions. Anyone own any concept why with the sole purpose unmistaken in safe hands sites come across to be blocked? Some of these are quality of exalted sites for me!
BTW, it's Windows 98, so here is no firewall, and I don't subscribe to Verizons firewall, or extra protection packet. Thanx
