I used to own Adaware... but the 2007 journal doesnt install on my system. and when i installed AOL antivirus... it uninstalled AVG antivirus... which used to be my outmoded AV.
Im a kid...and stick near the free apps fo immediately.

Free. I own AOL McAfee Security Center, formally set as AOL Active Virus Shield. It surrounded by reality does hold the best detection rate. 99.6% I judge.
ActiveVirusShield have be discontinued totally by AOL and all updating is also one stopped. (mine stopped updating final month).
With alien virus one created by the "blackhats" every hour 24/7, using an anti-virus that won't update to detain these topical malware variant is simply courting disaster.

1. For your Anti-Virus...(Always use solely 1 A-V)
For your anti-virus desires, I would suggest Avira AntiVir(R) PersonalEdition Classic. It have excellent heuristics, a virus detection rate to be exact better than masses of "paid-for" anti-virus programs and is muted on using your computer's resources. And did I mention that it's free!

2. For your Firewall.(Always use single 1 firewall)
An excellent free firewall is Comodo Personal Firewall. It can slip away firewall "outflow tests" that even most of the "paid-for" firewalls cannot endorse.

3. For your Anti-Adware and Anti-Spyware requests...(use 2)
Pick and choose, 2 anti-spywares from the register below and alternate scan near them on a regular justification. New spywares are created literally hourly, so no single anti-spyware can really detect all malware. Have at least possible 2 on paw and alternate scan next to respectively every few days or so. All are free. All can remove as powerfully as detect.

Mine includes Norton Internet protection and Windows Defender(secondary measure)
I am a die rock-hard Norton supporter.
I enjoy tried several free ones, but every time norton come surrounded by handy,
It is the best surrounded by the business.
One interesting entity I hold discovered more or less window protector is that it is also reasonably effective(quite effective to norton) as it have also warn me of some threats that norton also does.
If you want serious safekeeping and not only mental fulfilment, opt for norton, no polite things come for free(not the best ones atleast)
