How i can know which process is running on which port ?

apart from telnet , ftp . for those nearby r capably defined ports .
i know one command that is to say "netstat". is in that any other command or any alternative process to find it.

netstat -a is just agency of checking wats running

The other channel is getting a whatsrunning (WR) software which can show u the name of adjectives the programs and details on ya workstation!

The easiest is netstat -a
ypu can use a combination of netstat and ps (grep to filter the results) to map processes to ports
