I be using Lime Wire….. And presently I appear to be getting a HUGE amount of pop ups…. I hold them blocked on my control panel… I own tried running Ad-Aware but immediately achieve a message (at the extension of the process) explicitly respectfully terminating…
What can I do… Now, even after closing Internet Explorer I still get hold of a bunch of pop-ups…how can I stop this….
Answers:
As others enjoy said, it is spyware (or, adware). Don't click on any of those pop-ups, by the way--you may return with win a virus as a result. Reinstalling Windows, though, should be a closing resort.
If you can, do the online scan, Housecall. Go to
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/...
and click on Housecall (it is free).
Even if that works, you will not be done. That genus of spyware will be (already is) entrenched surrounded by your registry--and after you restart, it will reappear. So, formerly that happen: update your anti-virus and spyware protection, and later.
Turn bad System Restore (right click My Computer, choose Properties, afterwards System Restore tab and turn it off) and restart within nontoxic mode (F8 while restarting).
Run full-system scan (not smart scan or prompt scans), spyware and virus.
Restart your computer. Turn System Restore fund on (same steps as to turn it off).
Create a unmarked, verbs system restore point. Click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore and create a different restore point.
Good notion to verbs your registry (I use Ccleaner, "issues" on its menu). And review/revise your spyware protection behaviour. Use Spybot and/or Spyware Blaster to hang on to some of the worst stuff at inlet; SuperAntispyware to scan regularly for spyware and to delete it.

hey,
your laptop is infected by something call spyware, which be invented by general public who requests to show advertisement in need asking, lol.
you can try spyware removers such as adaware and other programs but sometimes adjectives spyware programs do is give more pop ups and problems to your notebook, the BEST article to do when you enjoy process too oodles pop ups. is to reinstall window again. start out fresh.
One other entity, if your using a regular modem and not a cable or dsl and hold no firewall, you will enjoy to stop window messenger surrounded by administrative tools, budge to services and disable and stop messenger pop-ups.
but the best item, Reinstall the window OS.
worthy luck
If adaware will not run...Go into past the worst mode and scan.Reboot...as your computer starts but previously the 'window splash blind' thump F8...select past the worst mode and run your scan from within...Reboot to exit sheltered mode..
