Okay, so I've installed McAfree and the division that scan virus is currently disabled and wants to be reinstalled. However, I don't enjoy $40.00 to buy it. Also I don't enjoy internet access on that computer (obviously it's not the computer I'm on right now). So is the anything I can do to return with rid of the virus?

Well, in that are some things you can but most of them involve the internet. You could download a trial and get hold of rid of the virus or gain vcleaner.
The other item you could do is scour for the first name of the virus.
You could download a free anti-virus, similar to AVG using the PC you are using in a minute, later copy and burn the installation bundle onto disk, and after run that installation bag on your PC near the virus on it, and next vote goodbye to the virus

You could down nouns 'Spybot' which might give a hand when you run it. But for that you call for Internet access..
If you are sure you hold virus later the answer would be to steal it to a computer shop and enjoy the system swept - I dare read out they would charge more than $40 for that. Costs lb30 here surrounded by England.
