I own be warn by the IT empire at my work twice to stop trying to get the better of the proxy settings in IE on my laptop. They claim I am going into internet options/lan settings and deselecting "Automatically detect settings"
The first time they told me, I assumed it could hold happen and excepted it. But very soon 6 months subsequently they are unfolding me here is no approach I am not doing this.
Can any one enlighten me other ways this might be scheduled? I would similar to to explain to my somewhat arrogant IT guy, that it's not other user error.

If it is stirring automatically I would request him to examine the GPO of the OU that your computer and or user commentary is assigned to. The GPO is the Group Policy Object that give administrator the resources to assign items such as you described to multiple systems base on their OU or Organizational Unit.
