I rlly dont want any virus and my friends enjoy IMVU and i wanna know if it's not dangerous...and i enjoy zonealarm shelter suite on my computer which is an anti-virus/ spyware item...

It won't present you a virus but,
It will start up and nouns everytime you log on and if you don't similar to it (I didn't)
It can be a discomfort within the @ss if you don't set the settings right.
IMVU have alot of incentives,
close to 3 days of conversation to your friends within a roll can earn you
credits, (use to purchase items for your IMVU avatar);but, it can be a bummer if you don't enjoy anyone to
agree to or any money to purchase credits to play next to.

The download itself appears to be out of danger. However you can other catch a virus through IM chats. Practice undamaging surfing and chatting and you will be ok.
No. I don't even enjoy any virus protection all the same, and i haven't have a virus even so!
