At the moment adjectives I own to do is press the envelope at the top of my messenger peak but I would prefer if I have to type surrounded by a password after clicking the envelope. Any aid?

i lately spent a couple hours looking for info on this (which i find preferable to in fact installing wlm, yecch!), and i couldn't find anything that be concrete clear, but i did see reference to the resources to make the addition of email accounts to wlm, which imply that within is an email configuration piece within wlm, and if so later you can hopefully remove your email from wlm configuration. you'll hold to theory test to see if that does what you want. i deem at hand's a pious coincidence that this will also disable any current email notification. maybe you could use some other program close to outlook express to tolerate you know if you own bright email waiting.
