Answers: The merely "safe" ones are within your startup folder. Right-click the "Start" button and select "Explore". You should be at your "Start menu" folder. Open the "Programs" folder, after the "Startup" folder. There should be several shortcuts contained by this folder. Each one will start some program when your computer starts. Moving or delete these shortcuts will prevent them from starting automatically.
