I only bought a laptop past its sell-by date ebay and beside full know-how it have not get window and no cds. Could some one please tender me the step-by-step details of how I could install this? Does anyone know how to achieve free software.
The laptop is a Sony VAIO X9 PC Notebook.

Answers: you will require a winXP cd/dvd, after that you can follow instructions below

1. If Your Laptop is trial than you want Partion surrounded by Hard Disk.
2. Than After Get a Cd for the Windowxp
3. Boot from the cd.
4. It is Automatically run the Program.
5. It Ask a Product Key which on th cd.
6. Than All the step display in the os so,follow it.
7. Remember install OS in Only C: Drive
Pirate software is around and really cheap but not free. The best point to do is give somebody a lift the laptop to a pusher and buy the program and tolerate them install it.
