Here is some honest information on how to repair Windows. You may enjoy to do it within Safe Mode. I'll include information on both.
To obtain into Safe Mode:

if you are trying to fix a problem, you can boot to the xp cd and run the install repair. on the first menu choose install window later f8 next on the second choose to repair window install. it will look similar to you are installing a fresh copy of window, but what it is doing is primarily upgrading itself which keep adjectives your files intact it will restore the system files pay for to failure to pay.
