Like I am trying to but my checkbook statement on my computer and I don't want to hold to append and sbtract everything I want excel to do that for me Can anyone let somebody know
me how to do this.
Answers: a drastically simple example:
suppose you want to put the product of a1 and b1 into cell c1
-go to cell c1, write =a1*b1 (enter)
OR
-click C1, put "=", later click A1, consequently "*" (for multiplication) and click B1
correspondingly, you can type contained by any algebraic function within between your referenced cell.
- by the style "=" within excels denotes that you are entering a formula into that cell.
Put within your formula, entrap the bottom right appendage corner of the cell the foumula is surrounded by, a + will appear, drag down to subsequent cell and so on.
