How do you do a system restore in Windows 98?




Answers: Unfortunately you cant.

That System Restore tool become available within Windows 2000 and difficult.
can't answer that because window 98 is no longer supported by microsoft so getting updates to that device is null and negated...

upgrade the pc
beside strange memory
harddrive
processor
etc

Just my suggestion
While the newer NT-class OS (like Windows 2000 and XP) own a "system restore" function built contained by, the with the sole purpose track to restore a Windows 98-era OS is to do a Ghost figurine restore or use one of the numerous system archive utilities to store registry and system state backup so they can be restored next. All of these assume you've already back up the system ahead of time.

Windows 98 did not own the system restore phase - that be introduced in Windows ME, afterwards added to Windows XP.
