How do you use Microsoft Excel to fashion a graph similar to the one shown contained by the interconnect below?

I am trying to spawn a graph approaching this: http://www.steve.gb.com/images/science/p...

I am strictly computer literate so not too much detail is needed purely the most substantial step. Thanks.

Answers: I don't know around anybody else, but I don't own access to the interconnect. Can you describe the graph, or try a different intermingle?

ADDED TO ANSWER:
It sounds resembling the Line - Column graph.

Here is where on earth to find this:
- Insert - Chart
- pick the Custom Types tab (instead of Standard Types)
- scroll down the chart types on the left
- look for Line-Column, or Line-Column on 2 Axes

Hope that help.
