Where can I download a copy of linux that can put put onto a disc or DVD, So that I can run it from startup and install it on a blank HardDrive.

I'm a Linux user and I can make clear to you straight up that you'll own a LOT OF FUN erudition beside this OS. For FC 7, which by the method is Red Hat's COMMUNITY-DRIVEN magazine of RHEL, or any other "distribution". I'd recommend www.distrowatch.com and scroll down to the counter that's on the right side of the page. This give you a schedule of the TOP 100 distros.
