How do you formulate a sound the horn nouns on Windows Vista Stop!?

Okay okay i JUST downloading window vista and i be on AIM and when i hit enter to dispatch the message my computer label the most annoying sound(beeping sound) and i want it dont to build it and my volume is down and my computer will dont consent to me put it up so please help
