I enjoy XP Professional, service pack 2, near MS bureau Word 2003. I can't spread out the foreign .docx files. I enjoy downloaded the compatability pack from

but my computer still think the files are closure files. I've tried unzipping them, but that doesn't give support to.
I really inevitability to solve this problem - adjectives my university course report are uploaded onto their website contained by .docx format and I really stipulation to know how to start on them.

Right click on the profile, click properties. Under the standard tab near will be a button labeled correction. Click this button to adjust which program window associates beside .docx files, modification it to MS word.
...but can't capture that to work any - at hand is no "change" tab.
I really, really have need of to acquire this problem solved.
Any facilitate would be markedly gratefully received.

If you or your friends own organization 2007 installed.You could widen the files using organization 2007 and retrieve it to .doc format and consequently be capable of use it on your system.
I'd to do that for around 400 files :( I wrote a program to use the libraries and convert it automatically but it have some bug and wouldnt do the work.Ended up doing everything manually.
