How can I seize hyperlinks to display properly in MS Word XP?

Help! I'm using Microsoft Word XP (2002). When I type in a net address surrounded by the document, I want it to display as e.g.

www.website.com (clickable, and next to blue underline).

However, Word is varying adjectives the hyperlinks to e.g.

{"HYPERLINK www.website.com"}

instead, beside no linking. Anyone know how I can get hold of it wager on to showing hyperlinks properly? Cheers.

Answers: it is vastly jammy.
filch tools menu >options
choose spelling and sentence structure tab
immediately uncheck the alternative "Ignore Internet and folder addresses"
enunciate ok

Now newly type the site address contained by the word document. and check it out.

I'm not sure, but I conjecture below the format menu is a Style subdivision, select that and afterwards select hyperlink or network address. You ay be capable of metamorphosis things in there
