How can I procure a Unix shell commentary on Vista?

I know that Windows 95 come beside some sort of entity built surrounded by that could be used through telnet. Does Vista enjoy anything close to that?

Answers: For some use Vista disappeared out the telnet command but you can still draw from it and install it from Microsofts pattern site.

Or you can go and get a "client" program such as PuTTY which is free and offer some nice features that fresh telnet.
Do you be going to the command prompt? If so, you can progress to the Start menu, select Run and type contained by cmd.exe and that will bring you to a terminal porthole. You can also start it from Start->All Programs->Accessories->Command Prompt.

You can also look into installing cygwin, although I don't know if it will work next to Vista nonetheless.
