Is Windows Vista really better than Windows XP SP2?

Now I know that this interview have be asked heaps a time past, but really, is it better? All of the other question I own read on the subject other enunciate that Vista isn't better, but they never supply any honourable points something like Vista besides it looks cool. Now I would approaching and equal argument pointing out suitable AND bleak view in the order of BOTH operating systems.
Now if it looking cool is really the singular better entry in the order of it, all right, that's merely it. I hold hear though that Windows Vista is truly Windows XP next to a latest look.

Thank You.

Answers: Depends. Vista is sort of perfect looking (though I get a moment or two seasick when I first played next to it), but it also have various driver issues and other things that are basically annoying that are *supposed* to be fixed in an upcoming service pack, SP1.

It really depends on what you're looking for; Vista have deeply of trial surety measures (UAC, Bit Locker, a clean network stack), along next to usability improvements surrounded by the form of a spanking new UI, but you still own to transport into details driver issues and apps not functioning properly.

Before you resolve to stir to Vista, it is best to check if your hardware is compatible (Microsoft provides a tool that does this), if your peripherals (printers and whatnot) are compatible, and if the apps you requirement are compatible.
I reflect on you answered your own interrogate. Vista looks cool... That's in the order of it.

Is the GUI worth the hassle of a slew of incompatibilities? I'd resembling to run DX10 games, but not inclined to switch even so because of adjectives of the troubles.
ammm for me it depends on the user,., windows vista is cool in language of payment, theme and the adjectives interface but not adjectives applications that are out on the marketplace is supported by window vista(ofcourse it's a modern OS) window xp is much easier to use. but vista is much cooler if you know how to use it..

a short summary: window vista is much better than XP if you know how to use it.. if you are computer savvy u will articulate that xp is better.. :D
gamefreak-

as the previous responders enjoy said.Vista does look cool and have some nice clean features.a few things steal a bit getting used to (like anything new)...but what is REALLY different and will nick others some time to swot up is the unsullied OFFICE 2007...completely different look and interface.
I guess we are constantly study something alien. :)
Depends on who you confer to. I own both - XP on desktop and Vista on up to date laptop. I'm impeccably in good spirits beside XP. Vista works differently and requires time to swot that which I've be doing. I hold found that setting Vista to "classic view" - which make it resemble XP, help. You might want to read these:
