i necessitate a program that will permit me cut segment out of my video and that wont wreck it by spamming a stupid watermark into it.

Well, depending on how much your predisposed to spend, you dont enjoy several choices.
The demonstrable choice is adobe premiere
that can cost nearly 600$$ or can be downloaded and cracked.
But unsurprisingly that could be banned ;)
Windows movie originator is another prospect if your OS is window. If it is a Pentium 4, and running XP it should own that application.
These programs aren't the simplest to use, but tutorials can trademark it much simpiler.
Windows movie author comes on laptop and imovie comes on macs.
