Answers: If it's single background and not programs you can copy and blend to your backup drive. If and when you reinstall the OS, the facts will be save on the backup drive and you can reopen them provided you own the proper programs to run them. For example, you can copy adjectives of your word documents to the stern up drive and they will still be available even if you reinstall the operating system but if you don't reinstall the word program you can't unfold it.
