Running Windows 95 using VMWare Player?

So I own a program that I want to run. However, it doesn't install on my Windows XP platform. It works for Windows 95 (its old) so I be wondering how I would be in motion almost using VMWare to run it. I will download VMWare player but I can solely find instructions for Linux installations of a guest operating system. How can I use a Windows 95 print (where can I gain it and how can I install it for free?) - (if thats possible). Thanks.

Answers: You cannot carry it for free..

You would obligation the VMWare Workstation and a legally recognized copy of Windows 95 to create it
VMWare workstation will agree to you configure the virtual mechanism settings.

VMWare player will singular tolerate you play those machines next to no modifications.
Workstation also have something call snapshots which you would love. You could install an OS and hold a snap shot.

You could afterwards install/test things and revert support to the fresh install as needed.
Your request for information is a bit ambivalent surrounded by that I'm not sure if your asking if VMware Player is free (in which travel case, yes) or if you could go and get a free Windows95 copy?? (in which bag, you could steal a license and not recommended).

The better quiz, what the hell are you wanting to run so disappointingly you walk to a 12 year behind the times OS to do so?

You can install pretty much any "quest" OS (even Windows 95), but I;m not sure that VMware tools will install properly on it (which are the virtual drivers for grand piano, mouse, graphics drivers, etc.).

Good luck...
