Answers: put the Xp compact disc surrounded by boot from the disc.
When you see journalists F6 to repair (or something similar) press it.
Then nouns to the repossession console.
When you are surrounded by the reclamation console log onto the system hedge where on earth window is installed. Often newly 0 or 1.
If no admin password newly press enter.
Then use the comman chkdsk /r to check and repair your disk.
in that are other nouns that can be used such as fixmbr or fixboot to replace corrupt essential system files.
If you type the stop code surrounded by the MS erudition basis it will probably furnish you the exact process within reclamation console here.
I am afraid to be exact the primary method given your intial information.
chkdsk can also be run from a command stripe. As can the command SFC system folder checker this checks and replaces your system files.
You can also do again the Registry by copying it from the:
C:\windows\repair directory to the C:\Windows\system32\config directory.
if you enter these nouns next to the switch /?:
e.g. SFC /? you will be given a brief serve database on its function.
The command to completely wipe your drive would be:
Format C: (assuming your primary involved wall is C:)
If you are have trouble executing these nouns use the command:
%systemRoot% first.
************PLEASE NOTE*************
I am assuming you know that to boot from the window disc you obligation to enter your BIOS and shift its boot priority to reside above your complicated drive. THis would be one explanation as to why you verbs to go and get stop errors.
Alternatives are to mount the drive surrounded by another PC and format it contained by window:
Right Click My computer | Manage | Drive Management |
I am not sure whether your comment is an attempt to be rude or not but since I am helping you anyway for free when I usually charge you can spin on your concrete drive armature if you don't approaching my advice
