Anything I try to widen brings up a pane dictum the track, record cannot be accesed and I may not own correct permissions. So no access to System Restore. (Windows XP Home, Dell laptop)
Answers: Restart your computer in SafeMode. (Before the Windows loading peak appears, save pressing F8 until you see the boot menu. Select Safe Mode).
And try to remove the installed software--> controle panel-->Add/remove programs
or
1. Boot from CD
2. Get historic HAL/RAID driver selection
3. Let it preload files
4. Get to the install peak.
When you receive to the install blind after it detects an existing XP install, don't offer it to the go-ahead on the format/install, instead select the risk that say "Repair this existing window installation."
