i put contained by the ubuntu live disc, and when i press star or install ubuntu it of late starts it.. how do i label it long-lasting? also when i install programs it dissappears the subsequent time i start into ubuntu. please help out?
Answers: When you choose Start Or Install, it starts up the disc within LiveCD mode. After it finishes booting up, you should see an INSTALL god on the desktop. Double-click that god, and it will hoof it you through the irrevocable install process.
After the install finishes and you reboot your PC, you will be capable of install to your everlasting Ubuntu installation.
Live compact disc are not keeping datas or programs you installed.
If you want to do so, you HAVE to install for apt ubuntu on your computer.
