im trying to install some software, when i put the cd in my drive close to freezes, and it say's it's blank but i know it isn't. and the drive works beside other software, and it's not a impossible disk becuse i have put the disk within my friend computer and it worked fine, so can anyone halp please

Make sure your drive is updated to the most recent firmware. Install Drive Letter Access.
