Okay I'm trying to trademark a Naruto AMV, I enjoy my clips and everything but every time I try to put them into movie author, it give me an error.
"F:\Documents and Settings\Holly\Desktop\Naruto Episode 34.avi could not be import. The required codec be not downloaded automatically because the Download codecs automatically check box is not preferred within the Options dialog box."
I don't know how to fix this, it does this on adjectives the clips I try to upload. I dont see an choice box anywhere, any. D:

and download n install the k-lite codec..
Try import the movie clip afterwards...
It should work!
It looks approaching you are missing a codec. (instructions on how to show or store video and audio)
From the menu
Goto Tools, Options
Then click on the standard tab.
There should be 3 checkboxes the third one is the one you want checked
If this doesn't work I would recommend downloading a codec pack such as K-Lite
