Answers: I believe you are referring to the Indian currency format, which is ##,##,##,###. In lay down to changeover to this format, you jump to Control Panel, Regional and Language Options, etc. but you don't modify the expression. You simply customize the digit grouping for English. the previous answer looks obedient, but that ability you would have need of to set up your Microsoft within Indian type the ivories.
click on a cell, click on format cell, accounting, near are various option for currency, I do not know what the format for the rupee is, but in that is a "INR" if you type within 400 it give INR 400.
you may know how to create a custom format also.
