Where can I find free photo editing software for mac?

Preferably one that wont bequeath me a virus. Im newly trying to resize some pictures.

Answers: Try the GIMP.

GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching, model composition and logo authoring.

Google for the GIMP. I know it sounds similar to something out of a scene of the movie Pulp Fiction, but it really is a free dummy editor (the full autograph of the program is GNU Image Manipulation Program).

You might involve to install X11 to trade name it work. If you're running OS X 10.3 (Panther), look in Apple's website. If you're using OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or OS X 10.5 (Jaguar), afterwards it's right on the DVD.
Umm...virus on a Mac?
