1. Go rear into Word, from the Word Menu(top) choose 'File' after choose 'Save as'.
2. A popup box will unscrew. From the Format dropdown menu select 'Word Document'.
3. Select "Location', coose or set location.
4. Click on the 'Save' button.
It will be save as a Word doc contained by the location you select.

Try doing this, when you want to recover a document, goto File on the menu tablet, select recover As, type within the directory nickname, and surrounded by the Save As Type: select Word Document.
