i own a Sony HDD Camcorder, and i connect it to a PC, and it read it fine as a Hard Disk Drive and it have adjectives the contents, pics and mpeg clips, BUT...i connect it to my MacBook and it read it, the pics, also the Mpegs, BUT FOR SOME REASON WHEN I TRY TO PLAY THE MPEGS it say "NOT VALID VIDEO FILE"
anyone know how i can fix this or why this comes out on OSX ? ?
Answers: Try playing them near VLC Media Player. Quicktime probably doesn't enjoy the right codec to play them.
That's why PCs ROCK. MACs a moment ago don't do Open Architecture stuff. With APPLE, it's iPod, iTunes or zilch.
