PC experts: Is MS FRONTPAGE a relatively unproblematic program to use surrounded by command to create net page?

I want to receive a pattern page from chisel (not myspace) and have need of to know if frontpage is a properly reliable and straightforward program. I am not a PC snob or anything who wishes to enjoy best and feel compelled to trash programs approaching MS WORD. Thanks.

Answers: Microsoft FrontPage provides a relatively smooth to use interface to create trellis page, however in that are other ways to accomplish this.

If you do use FrontPage and exploit any of it's dynamic features you will enjoy to host your page on a server that supports "FrontPage Extensions". These packages are recurrently more expensive than the industry-standard PHP-Apache-MySQL offering that every pattern host provides.

FrontPage sometimes get a impossible signature as servers beside FrontPage extensions are adjectives to attack from hackers. It also does not produce the cleanest HTML code and recurrently page created near FrontPage are optimized for Internet Explorer and can display funny on other browsers.

If your familiarity of HTML is constrained and you freshly want a honestly simple site consequently FrontPage may suit your desires. Otherwise I'd suggest a honourable deed editor (i.e.UltraEdit) and probably using a design from the Open Web Design and modifying it to suit your requests.

Good luck beside your site!
Stay away - the Frontpage coding is messy.

Use something similar to Dreamweaver CS3 from Adobe
I other thought it be alright. Though one-sidedly it help to know the actual code one made as it can sometimes be as frustrating as Word in how it formats things.

Frontpage be replaced by Expression Web, and that program which I purchased give or take a few 5 months ago is really great and much more standards compliant and I would recommend it.

I haven't used Frontpage since I upgraded.
