Also, ATI fail to mention that a program they tender for download (but not included near their video card) does the uninstall & install for you correctly. it's moniker is 5-9_xp-2k_dd_ccc_wdm_enu_26409 At most minuscule MINE is name that. (I copied & paste it.) Apparently, it is picky more or less how it is installed. Good luck.
