okay, here go.

I am trying to sort some awards for a kids flag football squad I assist within coaching

I don't plan on buying any software, I am probably going to download some freeware of stale cnet or something

Here is the problem... I enjoy an symbol of the Denver Broncos logo, it is on a white environment. I am trying to put that carving within the center of the award, but I want to lose the white situation and be off just the logo.

Also, I want to fade or kinda watermark it I guess. Basically net it subtle and look resembling it is member of the thesis...next to the color intact, as I will be placing file over this emblem.

So, what programs can anyone recommend, and what tools or nouns do I use on these programs to accomplish what I desire? Thanks contained by finance and points to best answer =)

Answers: Well, the recommended programs would be Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. But since you aren't looking to buying anything the best freeware would be the Gimp.
I work in the main beside Photoshop, but I know that the Gimp have a inspection tool that will allow you to select a unquestionable color and allow you to delete it. For instance if you select a white nouns it will select adjectives other white areas. Then you can delete that white and vacate the logo by itself.
To 'fade' which I would phone call blending is importantly experimental. Some populace kind the imitation on top more transparent. So it appears to fade contained by. However the best is usually to experiment beside blending modes in the program. (I included a link) These can relieve the picture appear to blend into the award. Then if you lower the transparency to your piece it comes out fabulously.
Again I'm not 100% sure going on for the Gimps blending modes, but I recommend it for your project.
