i turn it on and the home peak loads but after that it freezes...

Try booting up your computer in nontoxic mode. This course, you'll know how to check your computer settings, preferences, etc... and see what might be wrong and know how to diagnose it for a time better.
In sheltered mode, you'll also know how to put together a put a bet on up for adjectives of your critical files so you don't loose them.
To bring into sheltered mode, press F8 constantly when your computer starts up until a blind comes up for you to select SAFE MODE.
