I'm making a low budget horror aspect show and am pondering whether to win Avid Xpress or Final Cut Pro. Now I know both are expert of creating title sequences, adjectives, etc. and adjectives those "basic" film-related necessities, but as far as "special effects" go...
What humane can respectively do?
Could I show a planet blowing up in space near Avid or Final Cut? Could I recreate the white house blowing up from Independence Day? Could I recreate Jeff Goldblum turning into The Fly?
I hold two biggest big effects shots... one is a guy crushed beneath an indiana jones-style collapsing underpass and the other is a bit more complex... A train smashes through wall and into a parked train, drags it as it rips across a subway platform and over to the other side.
Could this be done next to any of these programs?
Answers: Hollywood population spent weeks to produce the above effects surrounded by those movies; I doubt one can reproduce those effects on a computer contained by hours.
