Just just this minute a few of my desktop icon disappeared and replaced by an 'e' on a white rectangle. Does anyone know how I can put the deity backbone? I tried creating another desktop shortcut etc, to no avail. I am using Windows Vista. Thanks for your relieve.
Answers: Which "desktop items" are you exactly conversation roughly speaking here? "My Computer"? "My Documents"? "Internet Explorer"? Or purely some illogical program that you not long installed?
Well, if any of your main/regular icon are missing, such as "My Computer", next follow these steps:
1) Right click on your desktop, scroll down the detail, afterwards click "Personalize".
2) Click "Change desktop items" from the Task menu

3) Check the boxes for the items you want to appear on your desktop and later click "OK". Voila! You're set!
Hi hon, I've get Vista and have duplicate problem. Right click on god the stir to Properties consequently silver statue. The just trouble I have when I did explicitly the icon's that be on nearby own disappeared altogether and I couldn't find them anywhere even next to browsing!
