My computer get a booting problem, and it cannot boot XP in run of the mill or any of the secure mode (it locks up at Mup.sys), the individual solution I found to resolve this problem be a complete reinstallation of xp, but i will lost all my files.
So I installed Xp on my 2nd Harddisk (HD2), hoping to retrieve the files in my 1st HD back I reinstall window.
When I tried to access those folders, namely "administrator" and my account's folder, I get an access denied message. I tried using command prompt, but it also substandard. However, I own access to "adjectives users" and "defaulting user". I am using the Administrator story within safemode of the HD2 Xp.
Are at hand anyway to gain access to files stored in the PW protected description contained by HD1?
Answers: Try to lift ownership of the database or folder using your 2nd xp installation.
