I enjoy installed Windows 2003 Server enterprise edition, on a Dell Inspiron 5100, 256 Ram, Pentium 4 2.40 GHz. (LAPTOP)

Now I'm trying to install the drivers that come originally beside the elder OS which be Windows XP. Basically, the video driver, nouns, mouse, and ethernet drivers. However, I'm getting errors when installing them. For rxample when installing the ethernet drive it tell me that it individual have drivers for window 2000 and XP. Also, some of the driver such as mouse and nouns are worn-out the passageway they used to.

Any solutions please, or should I find drivers for somewhere else? or I don't have need of these drivers? I'm pretty sure I obligation the Ethernet drivers, otherwise I won't be capable of connect it to my router.

gratefulness you

Answers: You won't know how to install the XP/2000 drivers on Windows 2003 Server.

You have need of to find the drivers for this OS from the components' manufacturer or www.DriverGuide.com

Good luck.
I would revert backbone to Windows XP. Windows Server 2003 is not intended for consumers and is not tuned for carrying out matching road XP and Vista is. Games will not be as quickly, etc.

Otherwise you can do to www.dell.com/support and see if they own driver for Windows Server 2003 on your model of laptop. Odd are extraordinarily slim however.
